HI! I'M DANNI <3

Hey! How's it going? It's so strange to finally start a blog. It really is something I have wanted to do for a really long time. I'm a bubbly 17 year old from Brisbane, Australia and am a proud ABK (Australian Born Korean). I'm currently in my first year of uni at the University of New South Wales in Sydney!

Facts about me :)

1. My full name is Daniella Ji-Yun Kim.

2. I was born on the 14th of August 2000 at Monash University Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.

3. I am an ABK (Australian Born Korean) with both my parents being from Korea.

4. My family consists of myself, my younger brother Jason (who is 2 years younger than me) and my mum Hye-Jin.

5. My father passed away right before I turned 8 due to liver cancer. It was a real hard time for everyone in my family but from the amazing help from our grandparents, family, friends and church community, we got through it!

6. My mum is an absolute legend because after his death she took the time to study post grad to become a primary school teacher so that she would have similar working hours and holidays as myself and my brother.

7. I really don't like soft drinks/fizzy drinks/concentrated sugary drinks etc:

8. My preferred drink is freshly squeezed or cold pressed fruit juice which is so expensive :0 but a lot of the time I make my own juices at home.

9. My two guinea pigs: Snowy and Fatty who are three years old, are my absolute world.

10. I love dogs so much. I could spend a whole day scrolling through facebook watching videos of em.

11. I love pigeons. I think they are really cute ahahahahah.

12. I love hedgehogs. They are so so so adorable. Though I have never met one before.

13. I'm really picky about my toothpaste for some absurd reason. I only like using Colgate toothpaste.

14. I have a thing for British actos xd. Sam Claflin, Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch are some of my faves.

15. I have played the violin since I was about 9, the french horn since I was 10 and I learnt piano for a while when I was younger so around 5. I've self taught myself in guitar and ukulele, though I'm not THAT good.

16. I really like skinship so things like hugs, cosying up next to each other, arms over shoulders anything like that makes me really happy.

17. My UE boom means the absolute world to me. That paired with Spotify is the only reason why I get through life.

18. I have very diversified music taste. One minute I'll be listening to smooth R&B like Daniel Caesar, then I will switch over to current pop music, then to Barbie movie music, then to jazz then to musical hits etc:

19. I always have Extra white peppermint gum and jols with me.

20. I have never had braces! I have been lucky enough to be blessed with perfectly straight teeth.
